FIRST ENERGY SIGNS SECOND PPA WITH PENNSYLVANIA WIND FARM

  On February 5, FirstEnergy Corp. announced that its competitive
  subsidiary, FirstEnergy Solutions, had entered into a 20-year
  agreement to purchase the output of a new 65-MW wind generation
  farm being developed in Somerset, Pa.  Generation Resources
  Holding Co. (GRHC) is developing the project.

  A proposal to install wind turbines nearly 400 feet tall atop a
  wind-swept mountain ridge between Acton and Palmdale is drawing
  criticism from Acton residents.

  Energy authorities warned that because energy resources cannot
  meet increasing demand, the need for structural reforms is
